Ambulocetus natans (i.e. walking cetaceans), are mammals of cetaceans, distributed in Pakistan, and their feeding habits are carnivorous. They lived about 49 to 50 million years ago ( Eocene). Ambulocetus is an early whale that can walk and swim at the same time, and is a semi-aquatic mammal. Fossils of ambulocetus were found near Pakistan, which was the edge of a large European forest during the Eocene.
The appearance of a ambulocetus is about 3.7 meters long, and looks like a combination of an otter and a crocodile. It has a large head, a protruding mouth, and eyes on the back side of the head. The muscles of the head and neck are strong, and their protruding teeth are used to prey on fish. Ambulocetus have no external ears. It will move its head close to the ground and feel the vibration, which is used to track its prey. Scientists think roaming whales are early whales because they have similar characteristics in water, including the adaptability of their noses to dive into the water, and the structure of their surrounding ear bones can listen to sounds in the water like a whale. In addition, its teeth are similar to those of whales.
The ambulocetus lapel pins have the long feet, sitting on the ground, not standing. It's a strange design, but seems it can walk on the land. Black metal with all soft enamel process. The white teeth and white eyes are pretty good. The light grey abdomen, dark grey back.
